Carl Dixon - Life Matters

Carl Dixon's life-changing head-on collision. Carl shares his journey back to music, his new path as a motivational speaker, and inspires audiences to find their own power and break the cycle of victimhood.

I wasn't sure how this show would turn out as it involved weaving together several stories. After listening, I couldn't be happier with the final product.

One of Canada's iconic rock voices, Carl Dixon, spent his life pursuing love. His love for his family, his love for music, and his love to inspire others. What sets his journey apart from most is that he miraculously survived a head-on car collision in Australia that left him in a coma for ten days with a broken neck and 51 other injuries.

Carl Dixon credits a squadron of guardian angels who looked after him through several surgeries and rebuilding his broken body, combined with his family and burning desire to perform again. Today he is also a conference speaker, and In his motivational talks to audiences, he says: “Our thoughts are the most powerful force in the universe.”

Carl offers you some incredible lessons on what matters most.

Sasha Braganza joins the show to talk about what RBC X music is doing to give aspiring musicians the attention their music and passion need, want and deserve.
